Clinical Psychologist qualifications

My name is Dr. Amy Harrison and I am a Clinical Psychologist based in Gloucestershire.

I completed a degree in Psychology at Warwick University and followed that with a doctorate in Clinical Psychology at Cardiff University. Once qualified I worked in Gloucestershire within a Specialist Weight Management Service and a service supporting NHS workers.

I have over 15 years experience of working in the NHS. I am a chartered member of the British Psychological Society (BPS) as well as being registered with the Healthcare Professions Council (HCPC). I have also trained with the Foundation for Infant Loss.

There are many different qualifications and titles for the therapeutic professions and it can be very confusing. To find out a bit more about the training I did to become a Clinical Psychologist please click below.
